The objectives of the\nstudy are to identify enterprise risk management practices and to\nanalyze the effects of enterprises risk management practices on\norganizational performance of SMEs in Nay Pyi Taw. Primary and\nsecondary data are used in this study. Primary data are collected from\nthe owners of 61 firms among 247 SMEs (25%) by using simple\nrandom sampling methods. These data are gathered by using\nstructured questionnaire with Five Point Likert scale. Secondary data are\nobtained from documents of SMEs, relevant text books, previous\nresearch papers and Internet Web sites. The primary data were\ncollected in May, 2020 which is the pandemic period announced by\nWorld Health Organization. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and\nmultiple regression analysis are used to analyze the collected data. The\nresearch found that communication is the maximum mean value and\nmanagement support is the minimum mean value. There are positive\nand significant relationship between enterprise risk management\npractices and organizational performance. According to multiple\nregression analysis, communication has only significant and positive\neffect on organizational performance. The other practices do not have\neffects on organizational performance.
