A descriptive method is\nemployed, utilizing both primary and secondary data. Primary data is collected from\n400 students through structured questionnaires. Citizenship competencies are measured\nusing four factors: attitude, skills, reflection, and knowledge. The study aligns social\ntasks with these competencies, finding that YUECO students are developing social\ntasks in conjunction with their citizenship competencies. The study reveals a need to\nenhance student engagement with current events and global diversity to prepare them\nas competent citizens in a globalized world, particularly regarding attitudes. In terms of\nskills, the university can better prepare its students to fulfill their roles as capable and\nresponsible citizens by focusing on decision-making, cooperation, conflict resolution,\nadaptability, and interaction within the academic environment. For reflection, advanced\nstudies and professional development contribute to a more consistent application of\nreflective thinking and problem-solving abilities.
