By \nusing Raosoft sample size calculator, the sample size is determined to be 83. 83 \nrespondents among 200 farmers, are selected through a simple random sampling method. \nPrimary data is collected by conducting personal interview using structured \nquestionnaires with 5 point Likert scale. Secondary data are collected from USDA \nreports, IFPRI websites, Myanmar Corn Trader Association Reports, Myanmar Corn \nIndustrial Association Reports, local microfinance companies and fertilizer companies, \nprevious papers and relevant text books. The analysis is conducted with descriptive \nstatistics and regression analysis. According to the findings from the analysis, price, \npayment and trust have positive and significant effect on direct marketing channel choice \nof maize farmers. Transportation, channels offer, personal relationship and bargaining \npower have positive significant effect on indirect marketing channel choices. To improve \nthe marketing channel choices of maize farmers in Nyaung Shwe Township, timely and \naccurate manner of pricing and payment system are important.
