The\nresearch employs a quantitative approach, utilizing structured questionnaires\ndistributed among 150 IT managers and staff across 150 branches in Myanmar, using a\nfive-point Likert scale. The data is used to analyze the relationships between the\nindependent and dependent variables. The training needs, the training objective, the\ntraining content, the training methods, and the training evaluation are considered\nindependent variables; the employee behavior and employee work performance\nconsidered a dependent variable. Regression analysis exposed a positive and significant\nrelationship between employee job performance and selected cyber security training\npractices, except for training methods in GTB Bank. Additionally, it has been found\nthat cybersecurity training techniques have the most significant impact on employee\nwork performance. The results of this study the need for financial institutions to invest\nin robust, ongoing training programs tailored to the specific challenges of the\ncybersecurity landscape.
