Ltd. Primary data and secondary data are used in this study. Among 235\nemployees, 147 employees are selected by using a simple random sampling method, and\nthe sample size is calculated with Raosoft formula. Primary data are collected through a\nstructured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale and an online survey method.\nDescriptive statistics and linear regression methods are applied for data analysis. This study\nfound that performance appraisal feedback, performance appraisal process, performance\nappraisal goals, and performance appraisal methods have positive and significant effects\non employee performance. Moreover, motivation has a partial moderating effect on the\nrelationship between performance appraisal feedback, performance appraisal goals, and\nemployee performance. Motivation has a statistically significant and positive moderating\neffect on the relationship between the performance appraisal process, performance\nappraisal methods, and employee performance. GGI Nippon Life Insurance Co. Ltd should\nuse an appraisal system by integrating it with business policies and HR practices.
