Descriptive analysis was applied using the quantitative approach to achieve the study's objective. The study employed a snowball sampling (referral) method, a non-probability sampling technique, to gather data from 227 employees working in both the private and public sectors. The study only focused on public awareness of CSR of current employees, especially in the Yangon Region. As a result of the study, individual basic knowledge of CSR in Yangon Region is moderate and the study found that most people are aware of CSR, but there is a lack of proper recognition and regulation by international standards, thus leading to confusion and misinterpretation about the responsibilities of private companies. However, there is a robust positive attitude towards transparency, monitoring, and reporting of CSR activities. A lack of public interest in CSR initiatives is viewed as the biggest challenge for corporations engaging in CSR activities. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) promotes ethical and sustainable business practices that benefit not only the company but also its stakeholders and the environment. The study recommended that private sector enterprises should consider all core subjects of the CSR standards that are all relevant to their operations, identify significant issues, engage stakeholders, and integrate social responsibility into their decisions and activities."}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2024-08-01"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Ye Linn Maung, EMPA-42, 19th Batch (ONLINE).pdf","filesize":[{"value":"658 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/9677/files/Ye Linn Maung, EMPA-42, 19th Batch (ONLINE).pdf"},"version_id":"80817493-91ce-4dea-bb71-20b97065658f"}]},"item_1583103233624":{"attribute_name":"Thesis/dissertations","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_awarding_university":"Yangon University of Economics","subitem_supervisor(s)":[{"subitem_supervisor":"N Khum Ja Ra"}]}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Yee Linn Mg"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Other"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Thesis"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2024-06-01"},"item_title":"A Study on the Private Sector towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Concepts (Ye Linn Mg, 2024)","item_type_id":"21","owner":"20","path":["1582963436320","1582965722087"],"publish_date":"2024-08-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"9677","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["A Study on the Private Sector towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Concepts (Ye Linn Mg, 2024)"],"weko_creator_id":"20","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-08-01T06:46:01.786804+00:00"}
