There are 120 villagers who\nare staying in Minnanthu village in Bagan. The sample size is 92 villagers out of 120\nvillagers by using Yamane formula. Simple random sampling method is applied to select\n92 villagers out of 120 villagers. Both personal interview and questionnaire survey methods\nare applied to collect data from 92 villagers by using structured questionnaire. In-depth\ninterview method with some villagers is applied to collect information about the quality of\nlife of Minnanthu village. The secondary data are gathered from websites, related previous\nresearch papers, text books, reports, records and documents relating to tourism industry.\nTo analyse the data, descriptive statistics and linear regression analysis are used in this\nstudy. This study found that socio-cultural benefit, environmental benefit and economic\nbenefit have a positive and significant effect on quality of life. The quality of life has\nsignificant and positive effect on community support for future tourism development in\nMinnanthu village. This study also specifies the local community’s positive perception\ntowards the development of future’s tourism.
