While\norganic farms are mostly used livestock manure, compost and bat guano are widely applied.\nThere were no records concerned with the efficacy of bat guano compare with cowdung on\nsome cultivated plants in Magway. Therefore, the present study was carried out within the\nspecific area from January, 2020 to August, 2020. This was tested twice in four- month crops of\ntwo economically important plant, tomato (Solanum lycopersicum(L.)). Five treatments were\nemployed in the trial: a control (T0 treatment), 100% bat guano (T1 treatment), 50% bat guano +\n50% soil (T2 treatment), 100% cowdung (T3 treatment), and 50% cowdung + 50% soil (T4\ntreatment). Results indicated that bat guano applications enhance in plant growth compared to\ncontrol, all plants in guano treatment exhibited greater growth rates. In the first and second time\nexperiments of tomato plants, the maximum plant height, number of leaves, number of\nbranches, length of leaves, breadth of leaves, number of buds and flowers ,number of fruits and\nweight of fruits were found more in T2 treatment than those of other treatments, (T0, T1, T3 and\nT4). Additional trails are recommended to elucidate any longer term and cumulative benefit that\nmight accrue from the use of bat guano as a plant fertilizer."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Bat guano"},{"interim":"cowdung"},{"interim":"effect"},{"interim":"growth and tomato plant."}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2024-05-07"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Khin Nyein Aye (417 to 428 ).pdf","filesize":[{"value":"399 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/9461/files/Khin Nyein Aye (417 to 428 ).pdf"},"version_id":"eb9b31e5-8a60-4914-81cd-c20c0c9a79c3"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_issue":"2022","subitem_journal_title":"University of Yangon Research Journal 2022","subitem_pages":"417-428","subitem_volume":"Vol. 11, No.2"}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Khin Nyein Aye"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Cho Cho Oo"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2024-05-07"},"item_title":"Effects of Bat (Hipposideros Pomona Andersen, 1918) Guano in Compare with Cowdung on the Growth and Yield of Tomato Plant (Solanum lycopersicum(L.)) in Magway","item_type_id":"21","owner":"235","path":["1582967797636"],"publish_date":"2024-05-07","publish_status":"0","recid":"9461","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Effects of Bat (Hipposideros Pomona Andersen, 1918) Guano in Compare with Cowdung on the Growth and Yield of Tomato Plant (Solanum lycopersicum(L.)) in Magway"],"weko_creator_id":"235","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-05-07T06:57:46.880443+00:00"}
