By promoting trade, country can get so many benefits. But the benefits from trade are not equally distributed due to the differences among the countries. Thus, it becomes the function of government to be able to reduce the side effects of trade and to be able to raise the benefits by the ameliorative policies and regulations. The study mainly aims to examine the relationship between the foreign trade and economic growth in Myanmar throughout the periods of system changes during 2006-2015. And descriptive method was applied to explore the nexus between them. This study finds out that foreign trade had not significantly affected economic growth till 2013 but it had seemed the effects on economic growth in Myanmar closely two years, 2014 and 2015.
