The first collection was done under the decomposed leaves from East Yangon University campus and another collection was the heap of rice straw soil from Kamarkalote village, Kyauktan Township at a depth of 6 inches. The xylanolytic fungi were isolated on Potato Dextrose Agar medium from four different sources. 17 strains of potential xylanolytic fungi were isolated from soil samples of EYU campus, 19 strains from soil samples of Kamarkalote village, Kyauktan Township, 6 strains from groundnut shells and 9 strains from sawdust of Kamarkalote village, Kyauktan Township. Those isolated fungi were cultured on Czapek dox Agar medium containing Birch wood xylan as preliminary xylanolytic enzyme production medium by forming the clear zone. Among 51 isolated fungi, 26 fungi showed the positive results of the clear zone as xylanase activity. The crude xylanase enzymes were extracted from Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., Rhizoctonia sp., Trichoderma sp., Fusarium sp., Botrytis sp., Aureobasidium sp., Rhizopus sp., Cladosporium sp. and Gliocladium sp. according to their macroscopical and microscopical characters."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"xylanolytic fungi"},{"interim":"xylanase activity"},{"interim":"xylanase enzymes"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2024-02-12"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Pyae Phyo Hlaing ( 185 to194).pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/9290/files/Pyae Phyo Hlaing ( 185 to194).pdf"},"version_id":"3b07eb06-f4d9-4bd6-9586-7115b6ad5182"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_issue":"2022","subitem_journal_title":"University of Yangon Research Journal","subitem_pages":"185-194","subitem_volume":"11, No. 1"}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Pyae Phyo Hlaing"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Khin Min Min Phyo"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2022-12-31"},"item_title":"Isolation and Identification of Xylanolytic Fungi and Their Enzyme Activity","item_type_id":"21","owner":"12","path":["1582967769683"],"publish_date":"2024-02-12","publish_status":"0","recid":"9290","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Isolation and Identification of Xylanolytic Fungi and Their Enzyme Activity"],"weko_creator_id":"12","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-02-12T04:59:54.257697+00:00"}
