This study aims to determine the influence of social media usage on\nthe information behavior of undergraduate students in (Ywar Thar Gyi Campus)\nYangon University of Economics. Simple random sampling method with probability\nproportional to size was used to collect data from 3047 students in this study.\nDescriptive Analysis, Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation\nModeling (SEM) are employed as the major statistical analytic techniques. The\nfindings indicate that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have\nsignificantly positive effect on behavioral intention to use social media. Based on the\nresults, the behavioral intention to use social media have significantly positive effect\non actual usage of social media. Moreover, the social influence has significantly\nnegative effect on behavioral intention to use social media. The study also found that\nthe behavioral intention to use social media have significantly predict social media\nadoption.
