Descriptive statistics,\nPearson’s chi-square test and binary logistic regression model were used in this study.\nThe descriptive statistics showed that nearly 73% and 50% of the disabled persons were\nemployment for male and female, respectively. The results of Pearson Chi-Square test\ndescribed that statistically significant association between socio-economic and\ndemographic factors and employment status for both sexes. The results of binary\nlogistic model indicated that age group, state and region (Tanintharyi and Ayeyawady),\nplace of residence, marital status, and participated in any community are positively\nsignificant impacts on employment status and state and region (Chin, Sagaing, Mon,\nRakhine, and Kachin), having parents, disability status, educational attainment (high\nschool), and get any support are negatively significant impacts on employment status\nof males disabled persons. For female disabled persons, age group, state and region\n(Kayah, Chin, Sagaing, Bago, Magway, Mandalay, Rakhine, Shan, and Ayeyawady),\nplace of residence, getting any support, and participating in any community) have\npositively significant impacts on employment status whereas marital status, disability\nstatus, and educational attainment have negative effects on employment status. It\nsuggests the need for awareness campaigns and support systems to engage parents and\nfamilies in the employment excursion of disabled individuals."}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2023-11-29"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Nwe Ni Win, MEcon(Stats), Roll No.1.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"723 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/9185/files/Nwe Ni Win, MEcon(Stats), Roll No.1.pdf"},"version_id":"321e4dad-37dc-4219-b440-4311c16fe071"}]},"item_1583103233624":{"attribute_name":"Thesis/dissertations","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_awarding_university":"Yangon University of Economics","subitem_supervisor(s)":[{"subitem_supervisor":"Dr. Nyunt Nyunt Win"}]}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Nwe Ni Win"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Other"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Thesis"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2023-10-01"},"item_title":"Employment Status of Disable Persons in Myanmar (Nwe Ni Win, 2023)","item_type_id":"21","owner":"20","path":["1582963436320","1707206634013"],"publish_date":"2023-11-29","publish_status":"0","recid":"9185","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Employment Status of Disable Persons in Myanmar (Nwe Ni Win, 2023)"],"weko_creator_id":"20","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-05-27T03:54:54.948686+00:00"}
