The objectives of the study are to describe the existing\nsituation of billboard advertising industry in Yangon Region, and analyze the barriers\nof billboard advertising for the development of this industry. In this study used\ndescriptive method and qualitative analysis. Concerning with drink category, to\ngenerate higher sales, it is necessary to maintain good relationship with their\nsuppliers, retailers and customers. Additionally, companies have to use their\ncompetitive advantage effectively after finding with the SWOT analysis by using\noutdoor advertising channel especially billboard advertising. The Key informant\ninterviews finds that the advertising agencies have to come up with strategies and\nprograms that emphasize on digital marketing and online advertising as people now\nuse internet services.
