SMEs can’t succeed without strong and\nefficient banks and banking systems which can offer financial assistance to develop\ntheir business. The study's objective is to examine the customer perception on SME\nLoan products and to identify the current status of SME loans provided by banks.\nDescriptive research method is used to explore the objectives of the study. The type of\nsurvey only applies to business owners and does not include other types of\nrespondents. According to the survey analysis, the perception of the customer,\ninformation about SME loans is easily accessible, but there is still a need to express\ninformation clearly. Customers' perceptions of the application procedure indicated\nthat supplying collateral is a significant issue that the many documents that must be\nsubmitted with the application present additional difficulty, and that not obtaining the\nrequested loan amount is unsatisfying. According to customers' perceptions of the\ncomplete loan process, it takes too long for a customer in need to complete the\nevaluation and approval steps required to execute a complete loan.
