The isolated secondary\nmetabolite was structurally identified by using modern NMR spectroscopic techniques such\nas 1H NMR(Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) , 13C NMR (Carbon-13 Nuclear Magnetic\nResonance spectroscopy), COSY (¹H-¹H Correlation Spectroscopy), HSQC (Heteronuclear\nSingle Quantum Coherence), ROESY (Rotating frame Overhause Effect Spectroscopy), HMBC\nspectroscopies (Heteronuclear Multiple Bond Correlation), and MS (mass spectrometry).\nThe isolated compound, cyclo(D-Pro-L-Val) (IC50 = 0.93 μg /mL) was found to exhibit good\nin vitro cytotoxic activity against human lung cancercell A-549.
