The\nphytochemical investigation indicated alkaloids, glycosides, sterols, saponins, phenolic\ncompounds, lipophilic and polyphenols were present in the leaves whereas reducing\nsugars, flavonoids and terpenes were not absent. The obtaining leaves extracts from\ndistilled water and organic solvent (viz, ethyl acetate, ethanol and n-hexane) were\ntested in six different organisms for antimicrobial activities. These experiments were\nconducted in the laboratory of Development Centre for Pharmaceutical Technology\n(DCPT). The ethyl acetate leaves extracts of\nMoringa oleifera Lam. showed highly\neffectiveness against all test organisms, especially\nPseudomonas aeruginosa and\nCandida albicans. Ethanol leaves extracts of\nMoringa oleifera Lam. showed the activities\non\nPseudomonas aeruginosa. The n-hexane leaves extracts showed the activities on\nStaphylococcus aureus.
