HDI is about giving people more freedom to\nlive they value. This study aims to determine the factor that effect the human\ndevelopment index in nations in ASEAN member countries. The analysis technique\nused is regression by using panel data regression with fixed effect model. The results\nof processing with random effects model show that population growth, inflation rate,\nGross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita and unemployment rate effects the human\ndevelopment index (HDI) in ASEAN member countries, while the variable rate of\ninflation does not have an impact on the HDI. This study implies the importance of\ngovernment to control the consumer price index (CPI) change in the economy as a\nwhole. The key set of panel data used in this paper cover the ASEAN countries and\nthe studied period is from 2000 to 2019.As for constructing the model for human\ndevelopment, OLS method is adopted. In this study the fixed effect model inflation\nrate, GDP per capita and unemployment rate are statistically significant at 5% level.\nThe result in the random effect GLS regression model two variables are statistically\nsignificant. In this study Breusch and Pagan Lagrange Multiplier Test, it can be\nconcluded that there is random individual difference among ASEAN Countries and\nthat the random effect model is appropriate. In this study inflation rate, GDP per\ncapita and unemployment rate are impact on HDI in ASEAN countries."}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2022-10-19"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Nyunt Nyunt Thein Oo, MAS -21, 2Bt..pdf","filesize":[{"value":"866 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/8310/files/Nyunt Nyunt Thein Oo, MAS -21, 2Bt..pdf"},"version_id":"f56aff16-ec62-4e8a-bb42-173b656cd4d7"}]},"item_1583103233624":{"attribute_name":"Thesis/dissertations","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_awarding_university":"Yangon University of Economics","subitem_supervisor(s)":[{"subitem_supervisor":"Daw Aye Aye Htwe"}]}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Nyunt Nyunt Thein Oo"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Other"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Thesis"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2022-07-01"},"item_title":"Determinants of Human Development Index in ASEAN Countries (2000-2019) (Nyunt Nyunt Thein Oo, 2022)","item_type_id":"21","owner":"20","path":["1582963436320","1582965763232"],"publish_date":"2022-10-19","publish_status":"0","recid":"8310","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Determinants of Human Development Index in ASEAN Countries (2000-2019) (Nyunt Nyunt Thein Oo, 2022)"],"weko_creator_id":"20","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-05-27T03:52:38.743650+00:00"}
