Common bricks are divided into two types namely as sand brick in white colour and clay brick in red colour. Sample specimens are collected at Pakokku in Magwe division and also samples are collected at Kyuakse, Kume and Tharzi in Mandalay division. These samples are examined for compressive strength, density and water absorption of bricks in laboratory. According to the results, it was found that M-3, P-4, M-2 and M-1 have maximum compressive strength and P-3 have minimum water absorption and porosity. T-5 has highest density. For first clay bricks, water absorption capacity should not be more than 20% by weight. Fire clay bricks are very popular materials in application because they are low costs, fire resistance and very long-term. The compressive strengths were determined by using compressive testing machine (RUB-250)."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Clay Brick"},{"interim":"Compressive Strength"},{"interim":"Absorption"},{"interim":"Density"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2021-01-25"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Myat Myo Myo Aye, Dr.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"28.7 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/7771/files/Myat Myo Myo Aye, Dr.pdf"},"version_id":"4e5bc340-d975-4c14-9440-ae6f35cc9ec2"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_issue":"I","subitem_journal_title":"Meiktila University Research Journal,2020, Vol,XI, No.1","subitem_pages":"241-243","subitem_volume":"XI"}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Myat Myo MyoAye, Dr"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Tin Maung Myint"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Min Min Myat"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2020-08-31"},"item_title":"Study on the Physical and Mechanical Properties of Clay Brick Samples in Four Different Locations","item_type_id":"21","owner":"184","path":["1608242063591","1608715482884"],"publish_date":"2021-01-25","publish_status":"0","recid":"7771","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Study on the Physical and Mechanical Properties of Clay Brick Samples in Four Different Locations"],"weko_creator_id":"184","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2021-12-13T04:21:25.849717+00:00"}
