Breast cancer\nis detected using mammograms. Then different\nsegmentation methods were tested and found that the\nAdaptive Thresholding Segmentation (ATS) method\nperformed well and the segmentation is accurately done\nby the CAD (computer-aided diagnosis) system.\nMammographic images were also subjected to ATS with\nGLC-CE and results are verified by the radiologist using\nthe size, shape and other parameters. We have validated\nthe results and findings with few noteworthy\ncontributions in the field of mammographic segmentation\nand analysis.
