It handles about 90 % of the country’s normal exports and imports to date. Its governance\nstructure has been inherited from the colonial age and the administrative body changed from time to\ntime. Presently, Myanma Port Authority is the sole authority to manage all ports in Myanmar. This study\naims to analyze the governance structure of Yangon port in Myanmar and its implications.
