During the 21st century, Asians had the highest fertility and mortality decline in the world. During the late 1970’s, significant changes have occurred in the most part of some Asia countries. This research paper respects the trend of fertility and mortality levels in Myanmar and its neighbouring countries during the period from 1960-1965 to 2010-2015. Lao’s, China, Bangladesh, Thailand and India are Myanmar’s neighbouring countries. Crude birth rate and total fertility rate are studied as a measure of fertility and crude death rate and infant mortality rate are studied as a measure of mortality. The series of population for these countries are studied in five-year interval as 1960 to 2015. The population growth rate per decade and per annum for Myanmar and its neighbouring countries are calculated by using constant growth model. It is found that the population growth rate per annum for Bangladesh is the highest and China has the lowest growth rate. Among the studied countries, Myanmar’s population growth rate was median with 0.82 per annum."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Crude Birth Rate(CBR)"},{"interim":"Crude Death Rate(CDR)"},{"interim":"Infant Mortality Rate(IMR)"},{"interim":"Total Fertility Rate(TFR)"},{"interim":"Constant Growth Rate"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2021-01-03"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"NNW Eco.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"652 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/7160/files/NNW Eco.pdf"},"version_id":"6dd90d90-b70f-448b-b43a-de568b75f4a1"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_journal_title":"Yangon University of Distance Education Research Journal","subitem_pages":"273-280","subitem_volume":"Vol.10,No.1"}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Ni Ni Win"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Thinn Thinn A"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Thinzar Aung"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2019-12-01"},"item_title":"A Study on Mortality and Fertility levels of Myanmar and its Neighbouring Countries","item_type_id":"21","owner":"64","path":["1582963541261","1596097029863"],"publish_date":"2021-01-03","publish_status":"0","recid":"7160","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["A Study on Mortality and Fertility levels of Myanmar and its Neighbouring Countries"],"weko_creator_id":"64","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2022-03-24T23:14:08.165912+00:00"}
