With this aim, this paper studies the effect of leadership style on employee engagement in CSOs in Mandalay region through identifying the employee’s perception on the leadership style of the leading person and their engagement in CSOs. The study found that absorption dimension of employee engagement can be achieved through democratic and laissez faire leadership styles whereas vigor dimension of employee engagement is supported by democratic and autocratic leadership styles. On the other hand, dedication of employees can be harnessed with democratic leadership style.
