The transition from high to low level of fertility in Myanmar has started around 1970s. A major factor in the onset of Asian fertility transition is dramatic changes in marriage pattern. It is an essential in determining the size, composition and growth of the population through family formationconcerningthefemale reproductive rates. These rates are closely related to early and late marriages, female educational attainment, female labour force participation rate, place of residence, etc. Therefore, the singulatemean age at first marriage for female(SMAM), age-specific fertility rate(ASFR) andtotal fertility rate(TFR) are calculated in this paper. Moreover, the intrinsic rate of growth, the mean length of generation, gross reproduction rate(GRR) and net reproduction rate(NRR) are also estimated on the base of stable population model. According to the results, the SMAM can be seen around 22 to 25 years for all the states and the regions. The TFR ranges from nearly 2 to 4 persons per woman. The GRR and NRR are found to be fluctuating around 1 or 2 female live births per woman and the mean length of generation for female is nearly 28, 29 or 30 years for the whole country."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Singulate age at first marriage for female"},{"interim":"Intrinsic rate of growth"},{"interim":"Mean length of generation"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-12-18"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Khin Nu Win.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.3 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/6921/files/Khin Nu Win.pdf"},"version_id":"2a6a82af-b79d-442c-85fd-60fa850fc82e"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_journal_title":"Yangon University of Economics Research Journal","subitem_pages":"87-105","subitem_volume":"vol.5, no.2, 2018"}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Khin Nu Win"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2018-03-01"},"item_title":"FEMALE MARITAL PATTERNS IN MYANMAR","item_type_id":"21","owner":"20","path":["1582965639643"],"publish_date":"2020-12-18","publish_status":"0","recid":"6921","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["FEMALE MARITAL PATTERNS IN MYANMAR"],"weko_creator_id":"20","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-12-11T10:06:00.216574+00:00"}
