Myanmar national poet Min Thu Won's poem “Pyin Ma Ngote Toe” (the Old Stump) and Russian poet Alexandrovich Vasilyev's poem (The White Birch) are selected for analysis and comparison as they are similar in a way that both were composed after World War II and, the miserable images of the war and the appearance of each tree before and after the war are perfectly described. The descriptive method is used to compare how the salient features of these two trees in the respective poems symbolize the hard time during the war and the revival of nature as they came about to life again. The students of Russian specialization can be expected to appreciate the aesthetic value of nature and life thereby being able to embrace the historic and cultural beauties of the two countries through their learning and enjoyment of such a genre of literature as poetry."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"tree"},{"interim":"poet"},{"interim":"poem"},{"interim":"war"},{"interim":"revival"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-12-09"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Win Pa Pa Aung(Rus).pdf","filesize":[{"value":"321 Kb"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/api/files/83b01752-dcb4-4985-9384-cd3aa6f2231e/Win%20Pa%20Pa%20Aung%28Rus%29.pdf"},"version_id":"c68c52be-02ba-4ec1-b17e-7016a1eb66cc"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_issue":"2020","subitem_journal_title":"Yangon University of Foreign Languages Research Journal","subitem_pages":"180-184","subitem_volume":"Vol.11, No.1"}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Win Pa Pa Aung"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2020-12-01"},"item_title":"An Analysis of Metaphoric Symbol “Tree” in Myanmar Poem “Pyin Ma Ngote Toe” and Russian Poem “The White Birch”","item_type_id":"21","owner":"52","path":["1582963513162","1596101306783"],"publish_date":"2020-12-09","publish_status":"0","recid":"6695","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["An Analysis of Metaphoric Symbol “Tree” in Myanmar Poem “Pyin Ma Ngote Toe” and Russian Poem “The White Birch”"],"weko_creator_id":"52","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2021-12-13T00:29:08.760862+00:00"}
