Software availability is one of the weakest\nlinks in system availability. Web servers have\ncontinuous execution of long duration and with rather\nvaried workloads. Such characteristics make them\npotential cand idates for a degenerative phenomenon\ncalled software aging. The work presented in this\npaper aims to offer the high availability solution\nagainst software aging of virtualized local disaster\nrecovery (VLDR by providing measurement based\nsoftware rejuvena tion. The idea behind our paper is\ntwo fold. First, we present the framework seeks to\nmaximize the number of services running\nsimultaneously, while guaranteeing the resources\nneeded by each service .
