In this study, Myanmar proverbs and sayings and studied with reference to Myanmar belief custom and tradition. The aim of this paper is to identify, appreciate and preserve th customs by successive generation.  In this paper, Myanmar proverb(1991) and Myanmar sayings(1996) published by Department of Myanmar Language Commission are used as refrence to investigate elements and concepts of belief in Myanmar customs.
