The \npurpose of the paper was to investigate second year students’ perceptions of collaborative \nlearning in Sagaing University of Education. Thirty eight percent of second year students who \ninvolved in collaborative learning were selected as the participants of this study by using \npurposive sampling method. In this study, a questionnaire for students was used to collect \nrequire data and demographic information of these students. In addition, a set of open-ended \nquestion was used to know students’ opinions and recommendation for their learning. This \nstudy used a descriptive research method. Questionnaire responses indicated that students got \na number of advantages in the collaborative learning. Firstly, they promoted social skills by \ninteracting in small groups. Secondly, they got learning benefits because collaborative \nlearning approach would help their deeper understanding.
