The key success factors include information technology (measured with the use of information technology), culture (measured with collaboration, trust, learning, incentives and rewards) and leadership (measured with transformational leader and transactional leader) which are assumed as independent factors affecting the knowledge management practices of the banks. Knowledge management practices in this study include knowledge acquisition, knowledge conversion, knowledge sharing, knowledge application and knowledge protection. The banks’ innovation is identified by the three types of innovation which are product innovation, process innovation and market innovation. Product innovation is measured by the new banking products and services created by the banks. Process innovation is determined by the pursuit of the smooth operating procedures for banking transactions. For identifying market innovation, the use of new marketing activities is considered in the study analysis.
