Traditional news agencies\non online social media allow news consumers to express\ntheir opinions about the news articles. The analysis of\nnews articles helps to measure and understand the\nsocial importance of many news of events like about 21st\ncentury Panglong Conference, Yangon Bus Service\n(YBS) Transportation, and so on. The sentiment\nanalysis for Myanmar news upon social media is rarely\nconducted among researchers to the best of our\nknowledge. This research aims to mine opinion of\nMyanmar people upon news articles from Facebook\nnews media pages written in Myanmar language. It\nconsists of two main steps: (1) extract subjective\nsentences and (2) sentiment analyze and classify from\nextracted subjective sentences. The main outcome of the\nresearch will be positive and negative human opinion of\nMyanmar news comments. Therefore, this research will\nbe not only opened a window to tap into the\npsychological thinking but also studied the general\nmind-state of communities especially for Ministries of\nthe government.
