In Myanmar, there are 3 cold storages and 115 sea-food processing factories. The effluents from those factories released into water bodies directly after little or no treatments have added to the environmental problem. For fish processing wastewater treatment, the optimization ofcoagulant dosage, pH and flocculants dosage was investigated. Ferric chloride (FeCl3) was used as coagulant and polyacrylamides was for flocculants aid. The experiments were conducted at several dosages of 150 –650 mg/L for coagulant and 15 –65 mg/L forflocculant within the pH range of 3.0 –11.0 to access the feasibility of the process. The process efficiency evaluation was based on the removal of COD, TSS, TDS, TS, turbidity, and odor. The best process condition was the coagulant dosage of 369 mg/L and flocculant dosage of 28.5 mg/L at pH 8.5where 68 % COD removal and 50% TSS removal were recorded. It is noticed that the turbidity andodor of the fish processing wastewater were also significantly decreased."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Fish processing wastewater"},{"interim":"Coagulation"},{"interim":"Flocculation"},{"interim":"Wastewater treatment"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-09-10"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"LLT-1.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"524 Kb"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/5331/files/LLT-1.pdf"},"version_id":"a3dc6029-d70f-4cc7-8190-8994aecb4342"}]},"item_1583103147082":{"attribute_name":"Conference papers","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_c_date":"2017-11-06","subitem_conference_title":"10th Regional Conference on Chemical Engineering","subitem_place":"Hotel Benilde Maison de la Salle, Manila, Philippines"}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Lat Lat Tun"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Su Su Hlaing"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Tint Tint Kywe"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Conference paper"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2017-11-06"},"item_title":"Physico-chemical Process for Fish Processing Wastewater Treatment","item_type_id":"21","owner":"30","path":["1596105561292"],"publish_date":"2020-09-10","publish_status":"0","recid":"5331","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Physico-chemical Process for Fish Processing Wastewater Treatment"],"weko_creator_id":"30","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2022-03-24T23:14:22.225011+00:00"}
