Then, this study\naimed to compare the peer relationship by gender, age groups, school\nlocations, socio-economic status and life event. Quantitative research\ndesign was used in this study. The sample for this study was chosen from\nfour Basic Education High Schools located in Yangon Region. A total of\n312 adolescent students in selected schools participated. The peer\nrelationship among adolescents was examined by using questionnaire\nsurvey method. The Peer Relations Questionnaire (PRQ) developed by\nRigby, K. and Slee, P.T. (1993) was used as research instrument to\nmeasure the peer relationship among adolescents. The results of\nindependent sample t-test revealed that significant difference was not\nfound on all three subscales of peer relation by gender. ANOVA results\npointed out that significant difference was not found on all three\nsubscales of peer relation by age groups. And then, ANOVA results\nrevealed that significant difference was found on Pro-social subscale of\npeer relation by school location. In addition, the result of ANOVA\nconfirmed that significant difference was found on Bullying subscale of\npeer relation by socio-economic status.
