Even though they could possibly find thebest preferred book by the user, searching anothersimilar book to the first preferred book is difficult.So recommender system is required in a library.Pearson’s Correlation in Collaborative Filteringis used to find the similarity between the users andthe active user. The Slope One algorithm is usedto calculate the average difference in ratingamong pair of items. This system providessuggestions to the students in order to give theratings on books which is related to their needs ortargets.
