Adaptive noise cancellation(ANC) is an alternative technique of estimatingsignals corrupted by additive noise orinterference. The cancellation of noise can beefficiently accomplished by using adaptivefiltering algorithms is implemented in this paper.The color noise, babble noise, impulsive noise,transient noise and other background noises areconsidered. This system presents analysis of twoalgorithms namely Least Mean Square (LMS) andNormalized Least Mean Square (NLMS). Thealgorithm is implemented in Matlab and tested fornoise reduction in speech signals.
