Audio events classification forthreatening environment through GeneticRegulatory Network (GRN) is considered. GRNis adopted as classification framework andgreatly reduced input dimensions. Thus using theresults from GRN framework as inputs forSupport Vector Machine (SVM) can correctlyclassify audio events such as gunshot andexplosion with low computational time andcomplexity.
