The researchers are stilltrying to make the cloud data storage system to bemore mature. And there are two major requirements ofdatastores in cloud computing environment: (1) highuntil almost ultimate scalability and (2) lowadministration overhead. As a result, scalable,distributed databases to store peta bytes of databecomes a necessity. In this case, NoSQL databases arethe most suitable solutions for cloud computing. Threeproperties of distributed databases that are commonlydesired are: CAP (consistency, availability, partitiontolerance). It would be ideal if distributed databasescan deliver all three guarantees.
