In this paper, digital color imagewatermarking scheme based on Lifting WaveletTransform (LWT) is proposed. The RGB colorspace is converted into YCbCr color space and Ycomponent is selected for watermark embedding.The Y channel is transformed into frequencydomain using Lifting Wavelet Transform (LWT).LWT decomposition is done with 'Harr' which issimple and symmetric wavelet. The proposedsystem focuses on an invisible and blindwatermarking. The system will be tested onquality factors such as imperceptibility andperformance evaluation metrics.
