Beside then there is also unknown word,a word does not have in the lexicon, which mayneed to handle for tagging and updating thisword in the lexicon to improve the coverage oflexicon. For this reason, this paper proposes thelexical analyzer to solve the ambiguity of knownwords and to tag the unknown words ofMyanmar language by using rule basedapproach and decision tree induction method.Moreover, to support the lexical analyzer,segmentation and pattern merging algorithm isalso proposed by using the Myanmar-Englishcomputational lexicon.
