There areseveral security algorithms already presented. Among thesealgorithms, digital signature is widely used in authenticationprocess and identification of owner. This system proposed anapproach for secured online vehicle annual licensing processusing digital signature for authentication and blowfishsymmetric algorithm for data encryption. Digital Signature isused to assign the documents in order to safe communicationand verifying the right owner and real documents andcertificates. In the process of annual licensing processes,documents need to send over the communication channel. Theremay be unauthorized access of the documents and modificationof the documents while sending over the communicationchannel. In order to avoid above problems, documents areassigned using digital signature and Blowfish symmetricalgorithm is used to encrypt the signed documents. Blowfish issimple encryption algorithm and key can be any length up to448 bits. It is suitable for applications where the keys does notchange often, like a communication link or an automaticdocument encryptor.
