One of the mainchallenges faced by the sustainable development ofTTM is the need for better water management. Thepurpose of this study is to extract water area anddetect changes in TTM Lake from Landsat imagery.NDWI, Modified NDWI, WRI and AWEI are used forextraction of surface water. The accuracies of thewater indices are tested using the error matrix.Among them, MNDWI is the highest accuracy inextract water body compared to other indices. Theresults illustrate that average accuracy of the waterindices method is 90%.
