In the past, the software attributes havebeen tried to subjectively and objectively evaluate forthe object-oriented applications. However, weightingthe aspect-oriented software attributes is onlysubjective, depending mostly on experts’ judgments.Among the weighting techniques, the Rank-OrderWeighting Method is one of the less subjectivetechniques to evaluate the attributes weightingapproaches. In this study, this approach is applied toassigning the weights of AspectJ’s software attributes.A simulation was conducted to compare the targetvalues and based values by using different rank-orderweighting methods with the matching results by usingSelf Organizing Map (SOM).
