These are supervised vs.unsupervised WSD approaches. Supervised WSDapproaches have obtained better results thanunsupervised WSD approaches. Naïve BayesianWSD approach is one of the best supervised WSDapproaches. This paper presents a corpus-basedapproach that uses Naïve Bayesian Classification todisambiguate ambiguous words with part-of-speech‘noun’, which uses topical feature that represent cooccurringwords in bag-of-word feature. This systemalso uses Senseval-3 corpus as a training data forNaïve Bayesian Classification, and access Word Netfor retrieving meaning of the resulted senses.
