Barcoding is a method of encoding<br>\ninformation into a machine-readable pattern of predefined bar and<br>\nspace patterns that can be quickly and accurately read by a scanner<br>\nand&nbsp; a&nbsp; computer.&nbsp; Part&nbsp; numbers,&nbsp; purchase&nbsp; order&nbsp; numbers,&nbsp; lot<br>\nnumbers, or any other information can be encoded into a barcode.<br>\nInstead of manually typing a customer identification number into a<br>\ndatabase, if the information is contained in a barcode, a data entry<br>\noperator may scan in it. In this paper, there are three logical steps<br>\nfor&nbsp; barcoding:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (i)&nbsp; creating&nbsp; barcodes,&nbsp; (ii)&nbsp; labeling&nbsp; and&nbsp; (iii)<br>\nreporting.&nbsp; The&nbsp; proposed&nbsp; system&nbsp; will&nbsp; present&nbsp; for&nbsp; three&nbsp; barcode<br>\ntypes: code 39, code 128 and code 11.
