To address this need, the cost effective PC\ncluster based storage server is configured to be\nactivated for large amount of data to provide cloud\nusers and is implemented with Hadoop Distributed File\nSystem (HDFS). HDFS is open source distributed file\nsystem that designed on low cost hardware. In this\nsystem, high access latency occurs due to the access\nmechanism of HDFS. Data prefetching is an effective\ntechnique for improving file access performance which\ncan reduce response time delay for I/O system. In order\nto solve this issue, we propose data perfetching\nalgorithm based on FP-growth algorithm to extract user\naccess patterns from user’s historical accesses records\nfor reducing the communications between clients and\nNameNode.
