The date are\r\ncollected from 75 expatriate teachers at ISM in Yangon with structured questionnaire.\r\nAccording to the results of study, among five personality traits, extroversion,\r\nconscientiousness and agreeableness positively affect emotional intelligence. Moreover,\r\nthe results also show that, among five domains of emotional intelligence, empathy and\r\nself-regulation affect task performance and social skills affect contextual performance of\r\nexpatriate teachers. The study recommend that ISM should focus on personality traits and\r\nemotional intelligence aspects of each expatriate teacher to achieve more authentic\r\nperformance.
