A field trial was set up in 4 x 2 factorial arrangements with four replications. Factor (A) ; sole cabbage (C), cabbage intercropped with tomato (C+T), cabbage intercropped with chilli (C+ Chi) and cabbage intercropped with wild radish (C+WR) and factor (B); insecticide (I) and no insecticide (I0) were set up. The results showed that intercropping cabbage with tomato and chilli could reduce the DBM larva population significantly in both seasons.
