This paper emphasized on inland salinity problem due to\r drought in Central Dry Zone (CDZ) area and flood related seawater salt intrusion in Ayeyarwady\r Delta. To grow double rice crop in brackish and salt water intrusion area of Ayeyarwady,\r selection of short life varieties, irrigation according to the lunar calendar, balanced fertilizer\r application are three main points essential for success rice growing in this area. IR 84649-308-\r 24-1-B, IR 10T-107, CSR36, and IR 846495-305-6-1-B are, so far, promising salt tolerant rice\r varieties for inland salinity areas and coastal and delta areas. According to experimental results,\r application of cow dung manure at the rate of 5 ton ha-1 was the best for non-saline, slightly sodic\r soil (S2) of Pale Township, Sagaing Region, CDZ and application of gypsum at the rate of 2 ton\r ha-1 was the appropriate amendment for slightly saline, highly sodic soil (S3) of Shwebo\r township, Sagaing Region, CDZ."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"natural hazards"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-05-05"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"SSTpaper_2_CSEAS_Kyoto.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1274 Kb"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/246/files/SSTpaper_2_CSEAS_Kyoto.pdf"},"version_id":"d77c49d7-9c9a-4f85-9e59-dd7f2e84551d"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_issue":"9","subitem_journal_title":"Department of Practice-oriented Area Studies, Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS), Kyoto University"}]},"item_1583103147082":{"attribute_name":"Conference papaers","attribute_value_mlt":[{}]},"item_1583103211336":{"attribute_name":"Books/reports/chapters","attribute_value_mlt":[{}]},"item_1583103233624":{"attribute_name":"Thesis/dissertations","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_supervisor(s)":[]}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Soe Soe Thein"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2015-12"},"item_1583159847033":{"attribute_name":"Identifier","attribute_value":"https://yauor-yau.archive.knowledgearc.net/handle/123456789/80"},"item_title":"Natural Hazards Induced Salt-affected Soils for Rice Production in Myanmar","item_type_id":"21","owner":"1","path":["1582969147534"],"publish_date":"2020-03-05","publish_status":"0","recid":"246","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Natural Hazards Induced Salt-affected Soils for Rice Production in Myanmar"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2021-12-13T01:26:27.981534+00:00"}
