Their chemical structures were elucidated by a combination of extensive NMR spectroscopy with X-ray crystallographic analysis for 1, and chemical conversion for 2. Compound 1 exhibited significant cytotoxicity against the LU-1 and SK-Mel-2 cell lines with IC50 values of 4.68 and 3.63 μM, respectively.
