Assessment of genetic diversity in cultivated Cymbidium facilitates conservation of germplasm and subsequent cultivar improvement. Thus, it is popular to develop more efficient polymorphic DNA markers. Although more motifs (403) were identified and more primers (206) were designed in the genomic library compare to cDNA library, a large number of successful primers were obtained from the cDNA library (59.9%) than from genomic library (51.1%). However, higher PIC and gene diversity were identified in genomic SSR. The average allele number per locus was also higher in genomic SSRs (7.3) than EST-SSRs\r (5.2), among the 24 evaluated Cymbidium accessions. AT/TA was comparatively high in EST-SSRs,\r while this motif was not as common in genomic SSRs. The CTT/AAG/TCT/AGA/TTC/GAA and\r TGC/GCA/GCT/AGC/CTG/CAG motifs were the most abundant tri-nucleotide sequences in ESTSSRs, while GTT/AAC/TGT/ACA/TTG/CAA was the most frequent in genomic SSRs. The number of\r repeats ranged from 3 to 12 in EST-SSRs. Currently, 52 novel polymorphic SSR markers have been\r evaluated, which will be useful for germplasm assessments, core set construction, evaluation of\r genetic diversity, and marker assisted selection (MAS) based Cymbidium breeding."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"cDNA library"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-05-05"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"cDNA derived SSR markers (Moe et al 2012).jpg","filesize":[{"value":"361 Kb"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"image/jpeg","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/219/files/cDNA derived SSR markers (Moe et al 2012).jpg"},"version_id":"f8366fd6-329f-4863-86f7-8c194b82afca"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_journal_title":"Electronic Journal of Biotechnology"}]},"item_1583103147082":{"attribute_name":"Conference papaers","attribute_value_mlt":[{}]},"item_1583103211336":{"attribute_name":"Books/reports/chapters","attribute_value_mlt":[{}]},"item_1583103233624":{"attribute_name":"Thesis/dissertations","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_supervisor(s)":[]}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Moe Kyaw Thu"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Woo-Ju Hong"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Soon-Wook Kwon"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Yong-Jin Park"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2012-03"},"item_1583159847033":{"attribute_name":"Identifier","attribute_value":"https://yauor-yau.archive.knowledgearc.net/handle/123456789/76"},"item_title":"Development of cDNA Derived SSR Markers and Their Efficiency in Diversity Assessment of Cymbidium Accessions","item_type_id":"21","owner":"1","path":["1582969313627"],"publish_date":"2020-03-05","publish_status":"0","recid":"219","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Development of cDNA Derived SSR Markers and Their Efficiency in Diversity Assessment of Cymbidium Accessions"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2021-12-13T01:35:07.995883+00:00"}
