Employees react and elicit different behaviors depending on different external and internal stimuli. Employees exhibit two types of behaviors: in-role and extra-role behavior, which is also known as the organizational citizenship behaviors (OCB). OCB can be classified into two_ citizenship behaviors towards individuals and citizenship behaviors towards the organization. This study tries to find the relationship between organizational justice (OJ) and citizenship behaviors (OCB) of both of OCBI and OCBO among employees, using affective commitment as a mediator, a proxy to social identification. A total of96 employees from seven hotels in Yangon and Mandalay were collected as sample. With the permission of their supervisors, each employee received a structured questionnaire, with five-point Likert scales for each question. Multiple regression analysis was used to explore the relationship between OJ, OCBs and commitment, using SPSS 22. Baron and Kenny approach was used to determine the mediation role of commitment and it was found that OJ has positive significant relationship both on commitment and OCB. Commitment was found to have a partial mediating effect on OJ and OCB relationship."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"organizational justice"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-05-05"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Tun Aung and Mya Thet Oo.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"18406 Kb"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/1648/files/Tun Aung and Mya Thet Oo.pdf"},"version_id":"c56e05e3-cd73-48df-b26d-605537df4b46"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_journal_title":"Yangon University of Economics Research Journal"}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"TUN AUNG"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"MYA THET OO"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2016-01-01"},"item_title":"Relationship between Organizational Justice and Citizenship behavior: The Mediating Effect of Organizational Commitment (Tun Aung and Mya Thet Oo, 2016)","item_type_id":"21","owner":"1","path":["1582963436320","1582965639643"],"publish_date":"2020-03-05","publish_status":"0","recid":"1648","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Relationship between Organizational Justice and Citizenship behavior: The Mediating Effect of Organizational Commitment (Tun Aung and Mya Thet Oo, 2016)"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-03-06T09:37:54.248125+00:00"}
