The present study is \nthe very first documentation on the moth species in Monywa University Campus. \nUniversity exhibits an enormous diversity of habitats including bushes, and grassland \nhaving a large number of trees and shrubs. This study was carried out from October 2013 \nto February 2014. Moths were recorded during the late evenings and the early mornings. \nA total of 20 species belonging to 14 genera under five families were recorded. Moth \nspecies of five families were recorded: Uraniidae, Sphingidae, Geometridae, Arctiidae and \nNoctuidae. The highest species composition was found in family Noctuidae (40%) and the \nlowest in family Uraniidae and Geometridae (5%) each. The largest moth species recorded \nin this study was Nyctipao macrops, whereas the smallest moth was Spilosoma \nmultiguttata. This study will contribute to the better understanding of moth in Monywa \nUniversity Campus and can be used in environment friendly development programs."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Moths"},{"interim":"Lepidoptera"},{"interim":"Ditrysia"},{"interim":"indicators"},{"interim":"environment"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2026-05-08"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Occurrence and Species Composition of some Moths (Lepidoptera) from -Khin Than Nyo , Thida San , Yin Min Hlaing.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"836 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/12736/files/Occurrence and Species Composition of some Moths (Lepidoptera) from -Khin Than Nyo , Thida San , Yin Min Hlaing.pdf"},"version_id":"410414f9-6592-4d99-8a4c-558d3500f2bd"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_issue":"1","subitem_journal_title":"Sagaing University Research Journal","subitem_pages":"247-253","subitem_volume":"11"}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Khin Than Nyo"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Thida San"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Yin Min Hlaing"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2025-03-03"},"item_title":"Occurrence and Species Composition of some Moths (Lepidoptera) from Monywa University Campus","item_type_id":"21","owner":"230","path":["1704332180226","1704447196785"],"publish_date":"2026-05-08","publish_status":"0","recid":"12736","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Occurrence and Species Composition of some Moths (Lepidoptera) from Monywa University Campus"],"weko_creator_id":"230","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2026-05-24T00:53:45.444798+00:00"}
